Electronica Weekly: Zedd

It’s midterms week, and we almost halfway in the quarter. Nonetheless, October is a great month for EDM releases.

Zedd, the German electro-house producer, is here with a new album! “Clarity” was just released Oct. 2, (CD copies will be released Oct. 9). Anton Zaslavski is only 23 years old, and he has shaken the dance floors like no other. He created an awesome remix of Skrillex & The Doors collaboration track; “Breakn’ A Sweat”. He also remixed “Save the World”, by Swedish House Mafia. His first original album really makes a bang, especially with the present he gave to every one of us.

The album theme track, “Clarity”, is free to any iTunes account holder! You can download it from the link below. Relaxed piano leads, in combination with melodic singing from the Foxes, create a sound extravaganza to please any hardcore electro-house fan. Zedd’s soul-pleasing drums and synths also create a sense heavenly euphoria, which would make this track a great addition to your morning playlist. The album just got released, and it already has more than 240 five star ratings.

If you have never heard Zedd before don’t worry! He will be playing at the Mid, Oct. 20, and an awesome show is guaranteed!
