Rejoice DePaulians, midterms week is over (well for most of us anyway) and it’s time to finally celebrate. As always, Chicago has a ton of cool events going on this weekend no matter where your interest lie. From cats to balls to Quentin Tarantino, this weekend really has it all.

The greatest gift the Internet has brought the world, is inarguably cat videos on YouTube. Luckily for us Chicagoans, this weekend The Internet Cat Video Film Festival will be visiting The Irish American Heritage Center on the northwest side this Saturday. The festival features several showings of a 75-minute film that features over 60 popular Internet cat videos, as well as a variety of cat themed activities. The event also includes an adoption tent for anyone looking for a new feline friend, as well as a cat food drive to help support cats in need in the Chicago community. Tickets for this unique festival cost $10 and all proceeds will benefit cats and kittens at Tree House and Chicago Cat Rescue.

Over in the North Center Neighborhood, Bare Knuckle Productions will be opening their production of Reservoir Dogs this Friday. The story and script is the same as the Quentin Tarantino film, but what makes this production special is that it’s an all female cast. The company aims to examine what it means to be a woman in society through their reinterpretation of the film. Tickets are priced between $15 and $20, and the show begins at 8 p.m. every Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Ready to kick off your fashionable fall boots and dance the night away? Head over to the first annual Fall Ball at the Logan Square Auditorium this Saturday. Presented by Empty Bottle and Jane Beachy, the Fall Ball will be a formal ball featuring a 30-person band, a large line up of different vocalists as well as DJ Swaguerrilla. So throw on your finest fall fashions and head over to Logan Square for a night of autumn themed fun. Tickets cost between $15-$20 and can be purchased either online or at the door.
