Public Safety issued an alert Monday morning after an aggravated assault took place just off the Lincoln Park Campus Sunday night.
The reported incident took place at 2219 N. Racine just after 11 p.m., where the victim’s arm was grabbed and her shirt was slashed with a knife. The perpetrator then fled the scene to the east.
Public Safety reminded everyone to be aware of their surroundings and did not have any additional information at this time.
