Algevon Eichelberger, a 3-star power forward from Sagniaw, Mich., verbally committed to DePaul men’s basketball on Tuesday. He announced his decision on Twitter.

Eichelberger is 6’7″ and 230 pounds. 247sports.com ranks him as the No. 64 power forward in the country for the class of 2016, and the No. 5 player from Michigan. For his senior season, he transferred to La Lumiere High School in La Porte, Ind.
This is head coach Dave Leitao’s second class of 2016 recruit after he received a verbal commit from Devin Gage in June. This brings the Blue Demons’ roster for 2016-17 to 10 players and adds to a forward depth that is already fairly strong.
