DePaul women’s basketball announced their non-conference schedule Tuesday with 14 games slated.
The schedule is highlighted by games against former Big East rival Notre Dame, Kentucky and crosstown rival Loyola. The Blue Demons will have six games at McGrath-Phillips Arena.
The Blue Demons will also compete in two scheduled tournaments, the Maggie Dixon Classic and the UNLV Holiday Tournament. The Maggie Dixon Classic, which is hosted at McGrath, will take place Nov.8-9, while the UNLV Holiday Classic will be Dec. 19-21.
“This season’s non-conference schedule is tougher than last season’s, and last year’s very non-conference schedule was directly responsible for DePaul earning our 11th consecutive NCAA Tournament bid,” Doug Bruno, DePaul women’s basketball head coach, said in a press release. “As always, our non-conference schedule will be one of the best in the country and will definitely have us prepared for Big East competition.”
In the last two years, DePaul women’s basketball has gone 26-10 in non-conference play.
