Gourmet Ramen: Asian Sesame Stirfry

Gourmet Ramen: Asian Sesame Stirfry

So Wednesday we were all out in T-shirts, then Friday it was back to the ol’ three layers of jackets and NASA-Approved astronaut boots (mine are purple). Anyway, since the weather has proved unreliable, you can always count on the comfort of food to be there for you…Forever.

Tonight we’re having Ramen. This shouldn’t be too hard; all your dorm mattresses are probably lined to the brim with those Maruchan pouches. But the time has come to move on from those foil packets, its time to roll up your sleeves just a little bit, and toss the salty seasoning.

Gourmet Ramen: Asian Sesame Stirfry

  • 2 Packs of Ramen Noodles
  • Microwaveable Steamed Veggies
  • ½ tbsp. Butter
  • ¼ cup Asian Toasted Sesame Dressing (I used Kraft, though this is not Product Placement.)
  1. First microwave the vegetables, the instructions are on the back of the bag.
  2. While that’s heating boil the Ramen Noodles, we can all do this blindfolded I’m sure*.
  3. Strain the noodles, and then place them in a bowl, topped with the butter and the Asian Dressing.
  4. Add the steamed vegetables to the plate and mix it all together.
  5. Go all out and grab some chopsticks. You can sprinkle on some crunchy chow mien if you’re feeling fancy.

*PLEASE DON’T.
