DePaul undergraduate students have one of the highest averages of internship experience
in the country, according to a U.S. News and World Report study.
Released Nov. 20, the study states that 45.3 percent of DePaul’s graduating 2010-11
undergraduate class (about 1,565 students) had internship experience, ranking DePaul
ninth on the list between Syracuse University and the Stevens Institute of Technology.
According to the study, 36.9 percent of students at U.S. News and World Report’s 330
ranked universities have had at least one internship. Of the top ten universities with the
largest percentage of interns, the average is much higher: 62.3 percent.
