The Big East Conference announced today that DePaul women’s basketball player Chante Stonewall earned her way onto the Big East Honor Roll this week.

The 6-foot-1-inch forward tallied 35 points, 12 rebounds, seven assists, four steals, and a block in two games this week. She joins Creighton’s Jaylyn Agnew, Xavier’s Aaliyah Dunham, Seton Hall’s Nicole Jimenez, and St. John’s Maya Singleton as the Big East Weekly Honor Roll honorees for this week.

On Wednesday against Northwestern, Stonewall piled up 19 points and collected five rebounds to help the Blue Demons orchestrate a furious comeback after falling behind 20-2 to start the game. The Blue Demons won the game 92-63.

On Sunday against No. 2 ranked Notre Dame, Stonewall poured in 16 points, grabbed seven rebounds, and dished out four assists in a 91-82 loss.

Stonewall and the Blue Demons return to action on Wednesday when they welcome Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis to McGrath-Phillips Arena for a 7 p.m. game. It’s the Blue Demons last non-conference contest before they begin Big East play on Dec. 28 against Seton Hall.
