DePaul landed its first recruit for the 2014 season Monday with forward Rashuan Stimage committing to the Blue Demons.
The news was first reported by Scott Phillips of Ny2lasports.com
Stimage, 6-foot-7-inch, is currently a sophomore at South Dakota Juco. Last year, Stimage played at Blinn College in Breham, Texas. While there, he averaged 15 points a game and shot 54.9 percent. He also averaged 7.9 rebounds a game.
Stimage is yet another Chicago-based prospect that DePaul has recently landed. The Blue Demons earned commitments from Billy Garrett Jr. and Tommy Hamilton for the upcoming season, and had former Illinois’ forward Myke Henry transfer as well. All four players played high school basketball in Chicago.
According to Rivals.com, Stimage was ranked a three-star recruit coming out of Farragut High School.
