Psychedelic electro-rock band Black Moth Super Rainbow will be playing at the Metro this Saturday, May 11, as part of a short spring tour. According to the band, this is the only tour planned this year.
The band released its newest album “Cobra Juicy” earlier last year, which was funded successfully by fans through online fundraising website Kickstarter. The album finds frontman Tobacco exploring a more pop-orientated sound while keeping the band’s signature analog synths and vocoder.
Along for the tour are Chicago locals Oscillator Bug and The Hood Internet. Tickets are available here for $16 (18+ show). Doors open at 8 p.m.
