Comic book stores across the nation will be celebrating the annual Free Comic Book Day this Saturday, May 4, by giving away free comic books. With over 52 different free comics available, there’s something for everyone.

Free Comic Book Day started as a promotional effort in 2002 as a way to get more people into comics and to help independent publishers. So if you’ve never read a comic, or love superhero movies, be sure to stop by one of the many great comic book stores in the city and pick up a few (come on, they’re free).
