    Electronica Weekly: Feed Me

Feed Me returns to the electronic music world with his newest album, “Calamari Tuesday.” It’s been available on iTunes since Oct. 14, 2013, and is the first release on his label Sotto Voce. The album displays Feed Me’s new house productions, accompanied with some dubstep and glitch hop tracks.

Jonathan Gooch, also known as Feed Me or Spor, became well known in the field after the debut of “Feed Me’s Big Adventure” on Mau5trap Records. Blowing up with a U.S. tour, he visited Chicago with his signature light show performance, teeth. The massive stage rocked the crowed at House of Blues on Feb. 9, 2013. Published on Soundcloud before the album, “Lonely Mountain” was one of the first teaser tracks, along with “Death By Robot”.

A mix of ambient sounds in the beginning accompanied with his signature bass, created the ground for this epic production. The melodic lead prepares the listeners for the electrifying climax, where the beat drops at 127 bpm. Feed Me was able to rise in the ranks by creating a different tone for his music.

Using video game elements along with mass amounts of modulation, his synthesized dreams became a reality. His music is original to the ear and has distinguished itself to the masses. With the emergence of his own label, Feed Me will be a headlining talent in future releases of electronic dance music.
