A DePaul student was robbed Sunday afternoon at a Loop ATM by a man who threatened to hurt him if he did not cooperate.
According to a Public Safety alert, the student was approached at about 4 p.m. at a Bank of America branch at 201 S. State St. by a man who directed him to deposit an $800 check and demanded $200. The offender then fled with an accomplice waiting outside.
Last month, a student was robbed at the same Bank of America branch by an offender who said he had a gun.
Anyone with information is urged to call Public Safety or the Chicago Police Department.
