When house music is the subject, Fedde Le Grand is one of the names that stand out. The Dutch producer is known for his legendary track “Put Your Hands Up For Detroit,” which was nominated as one of Beatport’s 20 electro-house tracks every fan must know.
His new track is collaboration with Dutch band DI-RECT. The collaboration’s result was kind of surprising- vocals from Marcel Veenendaal, along with Fedde Le Grand’s production, infused to a melodic house beat.
The track premiered in Amsterdam’s Dance Event Festival, but has yet to reach the surface of the electronic music world. It was released on iTunes on Oct. 18, and is available for purchase. Clever collaborations such as these will make sure that music is evolving, and that producers and bands will have to keep up with the times.
