Aleksander Vinter’s track, “Kali 47”, has demonstrated a new tone in Drum n’ Bass. His individualistic style of music production, in combination with his unique synthesized samples, has contrasted his sound from other producers.

Living in Oslo, Norway, he writes music under many pseudonyms. His widely known name, Savant, has been attributed to his Asperger’s Syndrome. Vinter is a perfectionist. He creates multiple tracks a week and puts the best of his abilities in each one.

“Kali 47” is a perfect example of melodic Drum n’ Bass. A colorful synthesized bass line, along with a plethora of other sounds display his ever-changing style of electronic. Vinter uses so many samples, that a human ear cannot distinguish them all.

However, the outcome is marvelous. Savant finally started touring in the US, and will be playing at Bottom Lounge on September 28. Listening to his life-changing tracks, his live sets should be equally amazing.
