Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds released their fifteenth studio album earlier this week, titled “Push the Sky Away.” The album features a more restrained and subdued production style compared to the band’s previous work.
Fans of Nick Cave’s previous sonically abrasive sideproject “Grinderman” might be a little disappointed by the change in style. Nevertheless the album still contains Nick Cave’s penchant for dark song writing. This is classic Nick Cave at his best.
The album is available in CD and vinyl editions, with the latter containing a bonus 7″ with two bonus songs not found anywhere else. The CD deluxe edition also features a booklet with scans of Nick Cave’s song book.
