Barcelona’s SONAR Fest to stop in Chicago

Barcelona’s famous SONAR music festival will be coming to Chicago Oct. 31 in its first ever international incarnation. The festival is known for hosting some of the most cutting-edge electronic dance music acts in the world.

The first SONAR festival was first held in Barcelona in 1994. Since its creation, it has hosted artists such as Fatboy Slim, Hot Chip, and James Murphy (of LCD Soundsystem fame). The festival will be stopping by in only eight US cities, Chicago being the first.

This year’s international lineup will include Die Antwoord, Azari & III, Paul Kalkbrenner, Tiga, Seth Troxler, Nic Fanciulli, and Gesaffelstein. Listen to some of the lineup below.
