The DePaul Blue Demons signed 7-foot freshman center Wilson Jacques, the team announced Tuesday. Jacques spent his freshman season with Fresno State and is from Metz, France.
“We are excited to add Wilson to our frontcourt and the DePaul basketball family,” head coach Chris Holtmann said in the release. “He had a very productive season and we are looking forward to his continued growth as he transitions to the Big East and contributes to our program.”
Jacques averaged 8.8 points, 8.8 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game in the 2025-26 season. He shot 48.4% from the field. He played in 32 games, starting in each.
He scored a season-high 19 points against Wyoming on Feb. 17 and grabbed a season-high 19 rebounds on March 3 against San José State. He also recorded his season-high in blocks (3) against San José State.
Jacques will join 7-foot-2center Fabián Flores on the 2026-27 roster, adding more depth to the center position and a reliable scorer and rebounder for the upcoming season.
