In an event which embodied the ongoing campus debate over free speech versus hate speech, protesters shut down an event with controversial conservative journalist Milo Yiannopoulos Tuesday, causing a chaotic scene to erupt across campus.

There was certainly hate speech last night but it wasn’t coming from Milo. It was coming from DePaul and those disgusting thugs who decided their message was more important than letting someone else have an opinion.
