DePaul Blue Demon softball player Morgan Greenwood now has an exclamation point to conclude her school year on.

On Monday, the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) announced that they had selected the Blue Demons third baseman and catcher to the 2018 Google Cloud Academic All-America Division I Softball Third Team.

The junior from Shorewood, Ill. carries a 3.78 GPA while majoring in health sciences.

Greenwood isn’t a stranger to earning academic accolades. Last season, she landed on the Big East All-Academic team and this season she earned a spot on the CoSIDA All-Academic District 5 First Team.

Earlier this spring, Greenwood earned a spot on the All-Big East First Team after slashing .300/.401/.507 in 52 games for the Blue Demons this season. She finished her 2018 campaign with 29 RBIs and six home runs. Her efforts also earned her a spot on the National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-Great Lakes Region Team.

Greenwood was an integral part of a Blue Demon softball team that won both the Big East regular season and tournament title.
