Pizzotti did not have any injury updates when asked if any players would be able to return before the regular season. She said they hope to get Grace Carstensen back before the end of the year.

“She’s just continued to work hard and stayed with it,” Pizzotti said, “I can remember saying before we’re going to play Texas, ‘Hey, Natiah you have an opportunity to get in here’ because of her approach. She comes she she works hard. She’s a very aggressive player, and she’s plays with a lot of confidence because because of her aggressiveness.”

“Coach Bruno always used to say, if you make half your shots, you’re going to Hall of Fame,” Allen said. “It’s easy to score 20 when you get to shoot 20 shots a game. Jill has all the confidence in me in the world, and she puts me in position in the offense we run to be so involved in the actions. I’m rarely not involved in the action.”

“I try to tell my teammates what I like to hear when I’m having trouble scoring,” Allen said. “It’s keep going at it. Get it done on the defensive end. Keep bringing energy. Find rhythm and shots within the offense. Don’t feel like you can do it all by yourself.”
