- Oct. 27 – 31: Active voting period
DePaul President Robert Manuel will speak at this week’s meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 29. Representatives will ask Manuel questions on behalf of their constituents.
SGA passed a resolution to establish a temporary International and Undocumented Student Support committee. Students can apply to be a part of the committee through this form.
According to the resolution, the committee is charged with spreading informational materials and will explore ways to promote student safety.
SGA also passed a resolution supporting a centralized “Know Your Resources” campaign. The student outreach campaign encourages the university to make the abundance of resources across university services more directly accessible to students through brochures and a digital infographic.
Taras Mytrofanyuk, DePaul senior and chair of the Academic Affairs Committee, spearheaded the resolution: “We’re not trying to reinvent the wheel, we’re just making sure that people know the wheel exists.”
