DePaul women’s basketball head coach Jill Pizzotti announced Wednesday that student-athlete Katelynn Oxley will be joining the roster for the remainder of the 2025-26 season.
Oxley is a 6-foot-4 graduate middle blocker for DePaul women’s volleyball. She averaged 1.07 blocks per set and was ranked fifth in the Big East. She was also ranked eighth in the Big East in hitting percentage with .318.
“It’s a rare occasion when you can add someone with size, who you know well, who you’re genuinely excited about and who has competed at a high level,” Pizzotti told DePaul Athletics. “Katelynn is a great fit for our program, and we’re thrilled for her to continue her Blue Demon career with our team.”
Oxley played basketball in high school at Lincoln Lutheran in Lincoln, Nebraska. She played two seasons with the varsity team and led the team in points, blocks and rebounds during her junior and senior year. Her team went 45-7 in two seasons and finished top three in the class C-1 state championship in back-to-back seasons.
Oxley has been named to the Big East All-Academic Team for three consecutive years. She received her bachelor’s degree in finance in June and is currently working on her MBA in business analytics.
The Blue Demons play against UMass Lowell at Wintrust Arena today at 6 p.m. The game will be streamed on ESPN+.
