This move has not been confirmed by DePaul.
Sellers has been an assistant coach at Creighton for the past two seasons, helping lead the Blue Jays an NCAA tournament berth in 2014. He previously worked for Connecticut from 2004-2010 as director of operations and as associate head coach. He played for four years at Central Connecticut State from 1987-91.
This is the second Big East assistant coach that Leitao has added to his staff with the addition of Rick Carter from Xavier on Apr. 10. Billy Garrett Sr. was the only assistant coach from Oliver Purnell’s tenure to be retained under Leitao.
