Cyrus is a 6’4″, 190 lb. shooting guard from La Lumiere School in La Porte, Ind. He is the teammate of power forward Algevon Eichelberger, who committed to DePaul earlier in the day. Cyrus is head coach Dave Leitao’s third recruit of the 2016 class, joining Eichelberger and point guard Devin Gage. Eichelberger and Cyrus took their visits to DePaul the same weekend and committed on the same day.
Cyrus becomes the 11th member of the 2016-17 squad and the fifth shooting guard, where he joins a crowded field.
