Paul Reed, a three-star small forward from Apopka, Florida, verbally committed to DePaul men’s basketball on Sunday.

Reed is 6-foot-8 inches and ranked three-stars by 247sports.com. He had offers from Rutgers, Clemson and Kansas State. He did not have any offers going into June of this past summer, but reportedly grew two inches over the summer and the offers started pouring in.
He becomes the third commitment from the class of 2017, joining guard Justin Roberts and forward Jaylen Butz. The Blue Demons have one more scholarship open for the 2017-18 season. Here’s how the roster shakes out with the addition of Reed.
