2021 four-star recruit verbally commits to DePaul
Four-star 2021 wing Keon Edwards verbally committed to DePaul on Monday, he told 247Sports.
Edwards, a standout small forward at Phoenix (Ariz.) Hillcrest Prep, took an official visit to DePaul with his parents this weekend. The 6-foot-7 forward also had offers from Arizona State, Baylor, Florida State, Georgia, Miami and TCU, among others.
According to 247Sports, Edwards is currently the No. 43 prospect and the No. 11 small forward in the class of 2021. The addition of Edwards and the verbal commitment from Chicago four-star recruit Ahamad Bynum gives the Blue Demons the No. 2 ranked recruiting class going into the 2021-2022 season.
With the verbal commitments from Edwards and Bynum, DePaul has racked up four four-star recruits in the last few years. Freshmen Romeo Weems and Markese Jacobs were four-star recruits in high school, and transfers Charlie Moore and DJ Williams also held the same ranking when they were going to college.

Well everyone I see no one else is responding to this site so I guess I will be finally signing off myself. I have enjoyed sounding off about how I feel about the DePaul program, but enough is enough. I wish the men and women’s basketball programs the most successful seasons this year and I will always support DePaul, right Coach Ray? Wherever you are Coaching now.
And as always thanks and Go DePaul.

Well what can I say. First of all I feel bad for the Blue Demons, who have lost their first two Big East games and I feel bad for the coaches and their young ball players, but I warned several months ago that a mostly guard/forward oriented team might have a little problem being coinmpetitive in the Big East battling teams that have Big players, 6’9″ and taller inside. DePaul was outrebounded by an average of 11 rebounds per game in the first two losses this year. I know Butz is out, but that’s why you can’t put all your eggs in one basket. DePaul plan to go after some TALL strong inside good players for 2021. I wish DePaul much SUCCESS not luck because luck has nothing to do with it. It takes hard work and smart and intelligent maneuvering. GO DEPAUL!!!

To the DePaulia sports staff; I did not see basketball prospect Keon Edwards on the 2021 DePaul basketball roster. Did he sign or not? Please respond. Thank you.

Well DePaul has done it again, they have brought in another guard. I wonder if the coaches at DePaul told him that part of his new responsibilities is that he would have to guard in a game an opponent that may be 6’9″ or 6′ 10″ tall. I don’t get it. Someone please help and explain to me Depaul’s basketball strategy here I’m completely LOST. By the way, I’m still a loyal DePaul fan.
Go DePaul !!!

Well here we are again, Coach I see where you landed two more transfers to the DePaul program, but they are guards. They look like they can help and that’s good Coach, but like I have been saying in the past and I’m saying it again ” WHERE IS THE BEEF ? ” Is there anyone in your recruiting search that is taller than 6’6″ tall? Maybe the new thinking is DePaul will simply run their opponents to death. Go DePaul

The two entering freshman players look good coming in for the 20/21 DePaul men’s basketball season, but where are the big inside rebounders and defenders that DePaul so desperately needs to legitimately compete in the powerful Big East? I look to see in the coming weeks some movement in that direction. GO DEPAUL!!! I will continue to support you in good times as well as bad.
