International student killed in car accident while home in China
A first year international student was killed Dec. 10 in a car accident while home in China for winter break, according to an email sent to faculty and staff on Jan. 7.
Huali (Lance) Yin was studying business at the Driehaus College of Business. Services for Lance were held in China after his death.
Deadline to add winter quarter classes extended
Due to the cancellation of classes on Monday, the date to add a class has been extended until Sunday, Jan. 12, at 11:59 p.m.
“We realize that the necessity of closing the university due to inclement weather on the first day of classes may have created additional challenges for students whiny to enroll or to add classes this term,”an email from the office of student records said.
