A man who was shot multiple times walked into a Walgreens five blocks from DePaul’s Lincoln Park campus and collapsed Wednesday night.
The 29-year-old man walked into the Walgreens in the 1500 block of West Fullerton Avenue after being shot in the chest, hip and leg at about 8 p.m., according to Chicago Police News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro.
The location of the shooting remains unknown as the victim has been “uncooperative thus far,” Alfaro said.
The man is an active gang member and convicted felon. He was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic in stable condition but no additional information was available, Alfaro said.
