DePaul men’s basketball announced two new additions to their incoming freshman class Thursday, including a player that had not been previously reported.
Erten Gazi, a 6-foot-4 guard from Cyprus, has been playing in the Turkish second league for Pertevniyal Istanbul and will join the Blue Demons in September.
Gazi averaged 15 minutes a game and had four double-digit point totals in 25 appearances for Pertevniyal Istanbul.
The program also announced the signing of 6-foot-7 forward Frederick Scott, who played for Simeon Career Academy in the Chicago Public League.
The incoming freshman class now includes five players with the additions of Gazi and Scott. Forwards Oumar Berry and Develle Phillips will add some depth to the Blue Demons’ front court and 6-foot-6 guard Eli Cain completes the incoming class.
