Multiple media outlets are reporting that a DePaul sophomore has been charged with the sexual assault of a 22-year-old woman with mental disabilities.
Joseph Annel, 19, has been charged with two accounts of sexual assault after inappropriately touching the woman, who prosecutors said has the mental capacity of a 10-year-old. The incident occurred in privately-owned student housing at the 1200 block of W. Fullerton Ave. adjacent to the university’s Lincoln Park campus.
According to the Chicago Tribune, bond was set at $50,000 and Annel will appear in court tomorrow.
No response from the university on this matter just yet. More to come.

Hello I have a daughter with disabilities and would have been furious if this happened to my daughter. How in the HELL is his bond so small? It makes you think what is wrong with him that he would need to go after a girl with mental challenges he could not get anyone with an age level of his own. It makes you question living conditions of places like this.
I hope they throw the asshole out of that school for taking advantage of an innocent young lady. HE NEEDS HELP!!!!
