Even while on sabbatical at Harvard University, DePaul President Rev. Dennis H. Holtschneider, C.M. found time to film an ALS Ice Bucket Challenge video while back on the Lincoln Park Campus today.
He filmed the video at Wish Field with help from the women’s soccer team following their win against No. 13 Nebraska. Many different students and groups including DePaul’s dance marathon, DemonTHON, nominated him for the challenge. Several other groups at DePaul have already accepted the challenge including the Student Government Association, DePaul Activities Board, DePaul Blue Crew and many more.
Fr. Holtschneider is back in Chicago this week for some personal business, DePaul spokesperson Carol Hughes said. He will return to DePaul Jan. 1 as previously announced.
