DePaul was named to Princeton Review’s Best Midwestern College list in their annual college rankings. The university also received acolades for being the third best college city and for being a top 15 entreprenurial college.
In 2008, DePaul topped the list and was named a No. 1 college town.
Other area schools joined DePaul in the rankings as well, with Loyola and University of Illinois-Chicago gaining some recognition, and the University of Chicago being ranked high in many areas. The Hyde Park-based university had the best ranked college library in the country and was named the best value for a private university.
Correction, Sept. 22: an earlier version of this article indicated that DePaul was also named a No. 1 College Town this year following a re-published press release from the university. This year, DePaul was named a ‘Best Midwestern College’ by Princeton Review and that correction has been made.
