DePaul celebrates the democratic process on Election Day

DePaul’s Lincoln Park Student Center was decorated with signs and balloons that urged students to go out and vote on Election Day and many of those students were first time voters who understood the importance of voting.

It was an exciting time of year for many students at DePaul who were finally old enough to vote and voice their opinions. Many of the students, in various years and majors, felt privileged to vote and were enthusiastic about letting their voice be heard.

“I feel privileged very much. Just having the ability to say something and to vote…is enough for me,” said sophomore Key Johnson.
