Electronica Weekly: Wolfgang Gartner and Tommy Trash

Wolfgang Gartner and Tommy Trash’s new collaboration, “Hounds of Hell,” brings out the best of both producers. Encompassing synths, warm vocals and a unique bass brings life into their track. The epic chord progression in the beginning prepares the listeners for what is coming next.

Halfway through their track, the pattern repeats. Accompanied with other sounds and vocals, the drop emerges to a grand breakdown. Wolfgang Gartner, or otherwise known as Joey Youngman, has been on the center of the action for years. With numerous Beatport-topping tracks, he has headlined many concerts and festivals.

Tracks like “Love and War,” “Nuke” and “Redline” have established the composer’s capabilities to his fans. Tommy Trash is no stranger either. The Australian producer has already made his appearance in Chicago, when he played at React’s Spring Awakening Music Festival.

The countless bangers he constructed have brought him to be one of the top upcoming artists in electronic music. Collaborating with A-Trak, Sebastian Ingrosso and The Aston Shuffle, he is the up-and-coming cream of the crop. With amazing mixing and songwriting skills, attendees to their concerts will find a very euphoric and mind-blowing experience.

If you have not seen any of these artists do not miss your chance to attend their concert on Oct. 11. They will be headlining at Concord Hall with both a late and early show.
