Electronica Weekly: Norman Doray and NERVO

The weather is getting cold, midterms are passing by, and music just keeps getting better! This week’s track is featuring my favorite female producers, along with another known name in electronic dance music.

Australian sisters Mim and Liv Nervo, should be no strangers in Chicago. They played at the Mid a couple months ago, and they are better known for their hit, “You’re Gonna Love Again”.

The sisters have done collaborations with many great producers, including David Guetta, Afrojack, and Nicky Romero. “Something To Believe In” is this week’s featured track that NERVO created along with Norman Doray.

Harmonic vocals, eargasmic lead, high frequency synthesizers and banging bass are just a few words to describe their new track! Nothing less expected from a piece worked by Norman Doray.

The French producer, started as a DJ in his 20’s. In 2005, he entered the world of production, and did collaborations with many great French artists, such as Pierre de la Touche and Arno Cost. So if you are stressed because of finals or something has made you a little moody, don’t forget: There is always something to believe in.
