Electronica Weekly: Gramatik

All the electronic genres are great, depending on the mood of the listener. There is nothing better for this snowy weather, than some Electro/Hip-Hop, and Gramatik is the answer to that.

Influenced by American Funk, Jazz, Soul and Blues, his music really soothes the soul. However, he has made many great bangers, like “Illusion of Choice” and “Talkbox Intended.”

The Slovenian producer never sees to amaze with his tracks, and “So Much For Love” is a great example of that. The chill funk vibe, along with many synthesizer-based sound vibrations, creates a pleasing song to relax any troubled mind.

His recent appearance at the Riviera theatre came with a bang, and many of my peers loved his performance. His creative performances are also a big part of the artist. Gramatik throws down with many samples and a combination of his music, along with older records.

Nonetheless, he is one of the known producers of the Pretty Lights Label, along with Break Science and Pretty Lights himself. If you did not get to see him last weekend, enjoy his official music video.
