According to an email sent to students on Tuesday, the College of Law has canceled their annual Barristers’ Ball held at the Trump Tower after students voiced concerns over the venue.

“After discussion throughout the day, the College of Law administration and (Student Bar Association) leadership have decided to cancel the Trump Tower contract and select another venue,” Burns wrote in the email. “It is important to us all that this event be held at a venue that all of our students feel welcome and comfortable at.”

Burns also said that the College of Law will pay for any fees related to the venue cancellation.
