Students can do all the right things, but sometimes it isn’t enough.
A male student was attacked while walking two female friends home early Thursday night, Nov. 21. The incident took place on the street at 859 W. Fullerton Ave on DePaul’s Lincoln Park Campus.
The student was walking friends home when “three unknown males began shouting rude and vulgar comments” according to DePaul Public Safety. The offenders then became physical, punching and kicking the male victim.
The offenders fled the scene as public safety approached and the male victim refused any medial attention, public safety said.
Public safety did not have any additional information at this time.
