    Electronica Weekly: JK Soul

New album release “Take Me Higher” is bringing JK Soul’s hip-hop and electronica influence back to the spotlight. Fat beats, old-school instrumentals and a ’90s atmosphere is brought to mind after listening to his tracks.

The Slovenian producer is really similar to Gramatik, yet different in the vibe their productions create. JK Soul expresses a deep feeling with each of his tracks, but he does not limit himself to instrumentals.

His new album is supposed to have some drum ‘n’ bass, dubstep and house tracks too. Nonetheless, the track “A Love Has Died” says it all. Deep beats, encompassing instrumentals and pumping hi-hats are only a few elements that make this producer unique to others.

Listen to his discography and do not forget to check out his new album “Take Me Higher” released May 20.
