The National, Chicago Theatre Friday, April 18, 7:30 p.m.

Indie rock fans should grab tickets for The National, as they’ll be visiting the Chicago Theatre this Friday. Enjoy your evening listening to songs from their latest album “Trouble Will Find Me” as well as classics like “Fake Empire” and “Mr. November.” Tickets are still available through Stubhub, starting at $46 for balcony seats.

Grease Sing-A-Long, The Music Box Theatre Saturday April 19, 2:00 p.m.

For those of us who’s go to karaoke duet is “Summer Nights,” I have good news- The Music Box theatre will be hosting a special sing-a-long screening of the much beloved musical, “Grease” this Saturday afternoon. So practice your hand jive, iron your poodle skirts and pick up tickets for the showing online or at the box office. Tickets cost $12.50 for adults and $8 for kids under 12. Also if your costume is really on point, there’s a pre-show costume parade before the movie.

Adult Easter Egg Hunt, Longman and Eagle Sunday, April 20, 11:00 a.m.

Why should kids have all the fun on Easter Sunday? If you’re spending the day in the city check out Logan Square’s Adult Easter Egg Hunt hosted by Longman and Eagle. Teams can register for $5 (the entry free is donated to the Logan Square chapter of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Chicago) and spend their afternoon searching for Easter Eggs around the neighborhood. The winners will receive Easter Egg baskets full of goodies. However if you’re not a competitive person, you can still enjoy the special rabbit sausage Longman and Eagle will be serving for the event. Longman and Eagle is located at 2657 N. Kedzie.
